RegAdó Calculator
Project
Designing an application that makes life easier for ordinary people who want to localize a car imported from abroad in Hungary and is not aware of the calculation of this registration tax. The interface should be as simple as possible and understandable / manageable for everyone. In addition, you must perform the most accurate calculation possible compared to the legal regulations.
Design icon
One of the aspects of icon design was that the icon should refer to the main function of the application and at the same time remain simple and recognizable. We used 3 colors red, blue and yellow for the design. These colors highlight each other well, so it will be eye-catching.
Design UI/UX
To ensure the uniformity of the user interface, we have tried to use the colors of the icon and the possible shades of these colors to design the basic elements.
The line of simplicity of the icon had to be followed to maintain unity and a sleek look. We were left with the principle of less sometimes more, as the embedded image shows.
Calculation
Once the interface design was completed, all that was needed was to design the calculation model. Since the law regulates exactly the basics of the calculation and the method of calculation, we only had to follow what was described there. Of course, paying attention to the exceptions and handling them.
Testing and release
Once the UI / UX design and development is complete, only the various tests are left. If all tests are successful, the app can go to Google Play Store where it will be available to everyone after some setup, data upload and review.
If some of the tests do not end as they should, we return to the more accurate method of bug fixes. Then more tests follow, which, if successful, will go through the process mentioned in the previous paragraph.
Of course, the work with the application is not over here, because based on user feedback, errors may occur despite the tests, which still need to be fixed, and not to mention further improvements, designing, installing, testing new features, etc.
